With a background in the applied arts, Cheng-Yu Lu has immersed himself in various domains, including visual communication, three-dimensional space and industrial design products, and has built up extensive design capabilities. Years of living in ltaly, has studied La Scuola Politecnica di Design and Domus Academy in Milan, have also empowered him with the creative energy to blend Eastern and Western aesthetics. Despite his diverse involvement in different branches of design, the “human factor” has always been his greatest interest. Making his work “fundamentally human and inspired by beauty”, he never ceases to put real human feelings before all else, whether identifying needs, designing functions or realizing creative ideas in the designing process. Understanding that design stems from humanity, Cheng-Yu devotes himself to conveying the experience of living in joyfulness and aesthetics. His works always radiate an eternally harmonious appeal.
