Camilla Kropp

Camilla Kropp was born in 1975 in Finland and workes now as self-employed designer in Germany.

She studied design in Sweden and England and graduated ub 2001 at the London Royal College of Art, in the department of Ceramics and Glass.

Her handcraft did she learn all over the worls. Schoolings in ceramis did she get in Arabic countries and the work with glass did she learn at the Nuutajärvi Glass Factory in Finland.

In 1998 Camilla Kropp won the “Young Swedish Form” Prize and got financial aid of the "Foundation for Swedish Culture" in Finland.

Kropp designed the Trio Glassset for Iittala in 2007.

Camilla Kropp wurde 1975 in Finnland geboren und arbeitet zurzeit als freischaffende Designerin in Deutschland.

Sie studierte Design in Schweden und England und machte ihren Abschluss 2001 am London Royal College of Art, im Department of Ceramics and Glass.

Ihr Handwerk erlernte sie aber auf der ganzen Welt. Schulungen in Keramik erhielt sie in arabischen Ländern und die Arbeit mit Glas lernte sie an der Nuutajärvi Glasfabrik in Finnland.

1998 gewann Camilla Kropp den “Young Swedish Form” Preis und erhielt finanzielle Unterstützung von der "Foundation for Swedish Culture" in Finnland.

Für Iittala entwarf Kropp 2007 das Glasset Trio.
